Shopping and Markets

Verified

From a 114-store shopping centre to a dockside fish market with not a single tourist, Setúbal covers the full retail spectrum. Three traditional markets, an annual fair dating from 1582, an independent bookshop since 1973, and living craft workshops — the city strikes a balance between modern retail and centuries-old tradition.
