Summary

The Setúbal Encyclopedia (setubal.folkup.city) does not set first-party tracking cookies. We do not run analytics that identify individual visitors.

What may be present

Functional state (browser localStorage)

We use browser localStorage for purely functional state:

  • Theme preference (light/dark/auto) — folkup-theme
  • Language preference (en/ru/pt) — if you switch via the language selector

These are not cookies in the strict sense and are not transmitted to our servers. They never leave your browser.

Infrastructure (Cloudflare)

The site is delivered via Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may set short-lived operational cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) for bot management and security. These cookies are part of standard CDN operation and do not profile you across sites.

What we do NOT use

  • Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party analytics
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking cookies
  • Session cookies that identify individual users

Because we do not use tracking or analytics cookies, no consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive. Cloudflare operational cookies are strictly necessary and exempt from consent requirements.
